As of the end of September 2025, an important update in the daily-use ceramic industry has come from the African continent – the construction of Perfina Group’s Tanzania Daily-Use Ceramic Factory is progressing efficiently as planned. Currently, except for the ball mill, a full set of brand-new intelligent production equipment has been introduced and commissioned. Covering an area of 64,000 square meters (equivalent to 96 Chinese mu), the factory is in the final stage of preparation for production and is expected to officially start production in November. This strategic layout will form a "dual-base linkage" pattern with Perfina’s stoneware production base in Liling, China, further strengthening the global daily-use ceramic supply chain capacity and providing global customers with professional OEM/ODM customization services for a full range of products, including ceramic mugs, ceramic bowls, ceramic plates, complete tableware sets, ceramic coffee cups, and ceramic tea sets. It will also inject new momentum into the African ceramic industry.
As a professional manufacturer deeply engaged in the daily-use ceramic industry for over 20 years, Perfina’s Liling factory focuses on high-quality stoneware production. With mature craftsmanship accumulation and technological R&D capabilities, it has built a comprehensive service system in ceramic product customization: For the OEM needs of global catering chain brands, it can customize logo-printed ceramic mugs and non-slip ceramic bowls, adapting to standardized dining scenarios in stores. The shatter-resistant and crack-resistant properties of stoneware significantly reduce operational losses; For ODM cooperation in the home market, it can develop ceramic plates and complete tableware sets with unique glazes, integrating modern home aesthetics to enhance product market competitiveness; For the coffee utensil niche, it launches heat-resistant ceramic coffee cups made via 1380℃ high-temperature vitrification, which have passed lead-free and non-toxic testing and comply with global food safety standards such as FDA (US) and LFGB (EU);
The construction of the Tanzania Daily-Use Ceramic Factory is a key strategic initiative for Perfina to expand into African, European, and Middle Eastern markets, and more importantly, an important practice to promote localized production of daily-use ceramics in Africa. The new production line introduced by the factory has dual advantages of "standardization + flexibility": On one hand, it can achieve efficient mass production of standardized daily-use ceramics such as ceramic mugs, ceramic bowls, and ceramic plates, accurately matching the needs of the local mass consumer market in Africa, reducing the region’s reliance on imported ceramic products, and lowering the procurement costs for local customers; On the other hand, it reserves a flexible production module that can quickly respond to small-batch ODM customization needs – such as developing glazed ceramic tableware that fits local cultural aesthetics for African catering chains, or customizing limited-edition ceramic tea sets for European gift merchants to meet the personalized needs of different customers. Meanwhile, the Tanzania factory has significant geographical advantages: Adjacent to Dar es Salaam Port, a major East African port, it will shorten the delivery cycle of daily-use ceramic products to East African and Southern European markets by more than 30% after production starts, significantly reducing the breakage rate (stoneware has higher density than ordinary ceramics, improving transportation stability by 50%) and logistics costs of cross-border transportation of ceramic products. This allows global customers to enjoy the dual guarantee of "localized production + global quality", especially suitable for the efficient supply of high-frequency fragile products such as ceramic mugs and ceramic tableware.
As the global demand for personalized, eco-friendly, and durable daily-use ceramic products continues to grow, Perfina’s dual bases will form differentiated and synergistic development advantages: The Liling factory focuses on mid-to-high-end stoneware customization . Relying on mature glaze R&D and shape design capabilities, it meets the in-depth ODM customization needs of brand customers; The Tanzania factory focuses on the production of mass-consumption ceramic bowls, ceramic plates, and complete tableware sets, undertaking large-scale OEM orders and further reducing costs through large-scale production. Notably, after the Tanzania factory starts production, it will also create over 200 local jobs in Africa, promoting the localized inheritance of ceramic production technology through technical training, and helping the African ceramic industry transform from "import dependence" to "local manufacturing", achieving a win-win situation of economic and social benefits.
In the future, Perfina will continue to upgrade its daily-use ceramic OEM/ODM services through technological innovation, planning to introduce eco-friendly glaze technology in the Tanzania factory and develop ceramic mugs, ceramic bowls, and other products with degradable glazes to further align with global green environmental trends; At the same time, it will deepen cooperation with local building material suppliers in Africa to realize a virtuous cycle of "local sourcing + local production + local sales", providing cost-effective solutions for the African daily-use ceramic market. Through in-depth linkage between the dual bases in Liling (China) and Tanzania, Perfina will not only consolidate the stability of the global daily-use ceramic supply chain but also empower the development of the African ceramic industry through localized cooperation, providing global customers with more market-competitive products and services, and helping partners seize opportunities in the daily-use ceramic niche market.
