Major Trade Event in East Africa Draws Global Attention

In early July 2025, the 49th Dar es Salaam International Trade Fair (DITF), also known as the Saba Saba Fair, was held with great success in Tanzania’s commercial capital. As the largest and most influential trade event in East Africa, the fair attracted more than 3,400 enterprises from over 30 countries, covering sectors including construction materials, light industry, hardware, home goods, energy, and food. Perfina, as a global supplier of ceramic tableware, participated with innovative designs and high-quality products, showcasing the strength and appeal of its brand on the international stage.

Popular Products on Display, Drawing Strong Interest

At the exhibition, Perfina presented a diverse range of popular everyday ceramic tableware. Product styles ranged from modern minimalist to earthy natural tones, and even included design elements inspired by traditional African patterns—offering something for various consumer groups and aesthetic preferences. The booth’s clean and professional layout, paired with functional product displays, drew heavy foot traffic from distributors, buyers, and retail visitors. Many attendees expressed admiration for the quality and practicality of Perfina ceramics, with several initiating potential cooperation discussions on the spot.

Deepening Cooperation to Support Little More’s Market Expansion

During the fair, Perfina also focused on supporting its long-term local partner, Little More. As one of Perfina’s key strategic partners in Tanzania, Little More has made notable progress in channel development, retail expansion, and customized gifting in recent years. Perfina specially prepared a tailored promotional kit for the fair, including detailed material specifications, design concept introductions, and scene-based product imagery to help Little More better present the brand to prospective clients and gain trust from target markets. This dual approach—combining strong branding with strategic local channels—laid a solid foundation for deeper future collaboration in product launches, distribution, and joint marketing initiatives.

Powered by Technology from Liling: Consistent Quality and Innovation

Perfina’s core product competitiveness stems from its high-standard ceramic factory located in Liling, China. Known as the “Ceramic Capital of China,” Liling boasts a rich heritage in ceramic craftsmanship and a well-established industrial foundation. Perfina’s KIBO factory in Liling has a 23-year history, blending traditional high-temperature porcelain firing techniques with modern mechanical automation. With an annual production capacity of tens of millions of ceramic pieces, the factory ensures large-scale, high-standard, and customized global supply. In addition, the facility houses an independent R&D team that continuously develops new product lines tailored to international aesthetics and functional needs, reinforcing the brand’s ongoing competitiveness in African and global markets.

Local Production in Africa: Faster Delivery, Lower Costs

To better align with the needs of the African market and enhance service responsiveness, Perfina is continuously advancing its local manufacturing strategy in Africa. Currently, the company’s ceramic factory, Kibo, is under steady construction in Tanzania. Once completed, the factory will fully benefit from favorable local government policies, including tax incentives and duty-free import of equipment. More importantly, it will significantly shorten the supply chain distance, effectively reducing logistics costs and delivery lead times. Compared to long-distance exports, localized production in Tanzania brings us closer to end customers, enabling flexible support for small-batch fast delivery, customized product development, and frequent restocking. This will greatly improve overall supply chain efficiency, strengthen customer satisfaction, and enhance our market reputation.

Bridging Cultures with Ceramics: Building a Sustainable China-Africa Future

The Saba Saba Fair served not only as a platform for brand exposure but also as a strategic opportunity for Perfina to strengthen local partnerships and expand its East African footprint. Through this event, Perfina and Little More reinforced mutual trust and reached preliminary agreements on joint product development, co-marketing strategies, and integrated online-offline sales. Looking forward, Perfina aims to continue leveraging its technical strengths in Chinese manufacturing, combined with local African resources and policy advantages, to build a more agile and efficient global ceramic supply chain. Together with its partners, Perfina is committed to shaping a sustainable future for the ceramic industry across China and Africa.
